Abstract
The Chakpas are a very important people group without them the history of Manipur and Christianity in Manipur is incomplete. The Chakpas were one of the earliest settlers in Manipur at the same time Angom Porom Singh the first man to be converted to Christianity was a Chakpa, man of Phayeng.
