Abstract

Marketing not only calls for a developing good product, pricing it attracts and making accessible to target tourists and also communicate through different means. Advertisement promotional strategy is most common and highly use for promotion of tourism. There are short term incentives to encourage purchase or sale of product of service. Thus, exhibition, demonstration, special event festivals, rural tourism, adventure tourists destination encourage more tourists to visit in Himachal Pradesh. In order to promote tourism activity in the Himachal Pradesh DOT (department of tourism) and civil aviation in the collaboration with horticulture department. The study has been found that pricing strategies help to call the visitors in the state with the help of demographical attribute. The research study has also confined the tourism expansion strategies with the help of local fair and festivals tourists information centre, exploration of culture and tradition, theme park and exhibition.
