Abstract

In the 21st century tourism is a one of the fastest growing industry which is playing a vital role in economic growth of developed and developing countries. Its contribution is primarily related to increase in foreign exchange, employment opportunities for the people, good return on investment particularly for the local people, and conservation of resources. India is popularly known as ‘Indian Sub-continent’ due to its physical and cultural variations. The scope for the development of tourism in this country is immanence but to date we could not developed this industry as it should have been developed.
