Abstract

Since the Stone Age, man has progressed a lot in the field of disaster management. Learning something new from the destructive happenings of the past is a natural phenomenon.But as Einstein said" There are only two things that are infinite in this world, one is the universe and other the human stupidity.

  2. Chernobyl Nuclear Plant tragedy (Russia)
  3. 1975 Coal mine disaster in Chasnala Colliery.
  4. 3 Dec1984. Bhopal gas tragedy.
  5. 23 Dec1995. Dabwali school fire tragedy , district Sirsa (Haryana)
  6. 16 Jul, 2004 Kumbkonam school fire tragedy (Tamilnadu)
