Corporate governance is the set of processes, customs, policies, laws, and institutions affecting the way a corporation (or company) is directed, administered or controlled. Corporate governance also includes the relationships among the many stakeholders involved and the goals for which the corporation is governed. Many of the "definitions" of corporate governance are merely descriptions of practices or preferred orientations. For example, many authors describe corporate governance in terms of a system of structuring, operating and controlling a company with a view to achieve long term strategic goals to satisfy shareholders, creditors, employees, customers and suppliers, and complying with the legal and regulatory requirements, apart from meeting environmental and local community needs. However, there is substantial interest in how external systems and institutions, including markets, influence corporate governance.

While athletes can tolerate a higher level of pain than normally active people, their pain threshold, the minimum intensity at which a stimulus is perceived as painful, did not differ in athletes and normal controls, according to findings by researchers at the University of Heidelburg, Germany. When it comes to transforming your own response to stress, it's tempting to search for that one pose or breathing exercise that will work its magic. But there isn't one magic pose. The process is a gradual exploration rather than an easy solution. "If you're practicing yoga every day, you're preparing for what life brings. You don't have to have a strategy for what yoga technique you'll use in a difficult situation." According to Weintraub, when challenges arrive, they will begin to flow through you but not overwhelm you. "When life hits, it doesn't explode or roll over us. We're not so caught up in the stress of it, but we're present for it."

Abstract

Several methods have been used to prepare multiferroic BiFeO3 (BFO). Coprecipitation (Cppt), Autocombustion (AU) and Sol Gel (SG) routes are adopted to prepare BFO in this study and compare the multiferroic properties (structural, magnetic, electrical and dielectric at room temperature) of prepared samples. Splitting in the major peaks of powder X- ray diffraction patterns indicated the samples have rhombohedral structure with some commonly reported impurity phases as Bi2Fe4O9, which is an Fe-rich phase and less in case of sample prepared by AU route. Room temperature magnetic hysteresis loops indicate linear antiferromangetic behaviour of BFO. Although unsaturated ferroelectric hysteresis loops were observed in all the samples of BFO and due to which, we get high loss and low dielectric constant of the samples, cause of higher leakage current but the loss is comparatively less in case of AU. Better results are observed from the AU route.

Customer value is the difference between customer’s perceived benefits and customer’s perceived sacrifices. Zeithaml (1988) defined customer value as overall assessment of the utility of a product based on the perception of what is received and what is given. Day (1990) addresses the issues in analyzing customer value and proposes that it can be expressed in a ‘value equation’: ‘Customer’s Perceived BenefitsCustomer's Perceived Costs = Perceived Customer Value’. The key dimensions of customer’s value are defined in terms of ‘get’ (benefits) and ‘give’ (sacrifices) components or in other words, what is Received and what is given. Perceived benefits are Quality Value, Emotional Value, Epistemic Value, Social Value and Conditional Value. Perceived sacrifices are Monetary Cost, Time and Effort Cost and Health Risk Cost.
