DIFFERENT DIMENSION OF TEACHERS ATTITUDE INVENTORY AMONG MALE AND FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS- A STUDY

Abstract

Importance of study of teacher attitude towards in teaching profession is generated in the mind of investigator to study the influence between moderator variables. From the psychological point of view the teachers' attitude is most influential in teaching profession. Attitudes are generally the outcome of values and more implied in the environment surrounding the young mind. Schools should build up a good environment where favorable teachers attitude towards teaching profession may find healthy sustenance. Hence there a great need for a study of teachers attitude towards teaching profession in Secondary schools in relation to gender and locality. 10 Higher secondary schools 5 are Government and 5 are Private schools. Again 50 male teachers and 50 female teachers, total 100 teachers have taken randomly as the subjects of the present investigation from the selected Government and Private Higher secondary schools of Bilaspur District of Chhattisgarh.
