EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, MENTAL HEALTH, STRESS & WELL-BEING

Abstract

The study under reference intends to examine whether or not, (i) mental health status is influenced by Emotional Intelligence, (ii) well being is influenced by EI, (iii) well being is influenced by mental health, (iv) to examine the relationship among stress, psychological health and psychological well being. It was hypothesized that : (i) Emotional Intelligence would significantly influence the mental health status of the respondents (ii) Emotional Intelligence would significantly influence the well being of the respondents (iii) Severity of life stress would significantly influence the mental health status of the respondents. (iv) there would be significant relationship among Emotional Intelligence stress, mental health status and well being of the respondents.
