Abstract

The present study was conducted to examine the effect of parental encouragement on children's scholastic achievement and reasoning ability. For this purpose an incidental-cum-purposive sample of 120 students were selected. The students comprised of the secondary high schools of Muzaffarpur. For measuring Parental encouragement, Parental Encouragement Scale developed by DR. R.R. Sharma was used.
