Abstract

Teaching is a noble profession that builds the character, capability and future of an individual. The method of teaching refers to the general principles, pedagogy and management strategies used for classroom instruction. This paper is primarily empirical as well as analytical in nature covering the areas of method of teaching in Gandhian thought. The objectives of this study are- 1. To study the method of teaching in Gandhian thought. 2. To draw a relevance of Gandhiji’s method of teaching in present context. The thought of Gandhi on method of teaching is highly pragmatic and pedagogically sound.
