Abstract

In this article, an attempt has been made to define the concept of ICT, ICT knowledge and its use by the students for improving their understanding in curricular areas.ICT facilities are more or less available in every sample school. There, students are having scope to achieve ICT knowledge in the area of word processing, presentation software, etc. They are given opportunity to acquire knowledge for sending message by e-mail and enjoying various games from different websites. Article also highlights their knowledge in developing project work, newsletter and brochure.Further, this article entails the profile of students who are using social media specially Facebook and WhatsApp group. Use of internet by students for operating social media, uploading and downloading various text documents, audio programmes, video programmes, etc which can help to improve their curricular areas are also included in this article.
