Abstract

While acknowledging the creation of states and nations on cultural grounds, Dr. Ambedkar did not ignore the social, economic and political contradictions within any cultural community, but in his thinking these aspects have been emphasized. This thinking was also portrayed in his Kashmir Ideology. Dr Ambedkar criticized Nehru’s Pakistan policy, especially our relationship with Kashmir, he said that our argument with Pakistan has become a part of our foreign policy, which he deeply expressed dissatisfaction with and which he considered was the main reason of Kashmir problem. For us, all religions and cultures are equal, everyone should have equal right of self-determination, be it Hindu or Muslim.
