Abstract

In Indian classical music, percussion instruments have very long history. Percussion instruments are used for the foundation of rhythm so they are also known as taal instruments. The development of rhythm instruments became possible when human being realized the importance of rhythm in life. In the beginning of music Tripuskar was the percussion instrument which became popular and it was made by Swati Muni.
