Abstract

There are different types of investment alternatives available in the market for the customers, each having their own risk and return. Investment is the sacrifice of current money in the expectation of a higher amount in future. It is the sacrifice of hard earned money and it requires a large amount of funds and the decision is irreversible. Therefore any Investment should be done with proper planning and evaluation. Also Investment decisions are affected by the demographic conditions of the customers as well as the tax benefit associated with various investment options. This Paper explains various tools and techniques which can be used for Investment Analysis. Various investment options like equity, bonds, fixed deposits, mutual funds and real estate have been taken into study.
