Health is an essential component of nation’s development and is vital to the economic growth and internal stability of the country. Health centres in India which includes community health centres, primary health centres, sub centres and which offer valuable medical services in the critical situation to peoples for relieving from their medical oriented issues than compare to government hospitals. In this regards clear cut study is required on Heath centres in India. The present study is focusing on growth and development of health centres in India for that data is taken from Rural Health statistics report, Public Information Bureau and other valuable records published by government of India.
