HALLUCINATION AND LOSS OF INSECURITY IN EUGENE O'NEILL THE EMPEROR JONES

Abstract

The present paper tries to consider Eugene O’ Neill’s The Emperor's Johns and find answer to the questions about men's hallucination and loss of insecurity towards their life. Man and woman in the present world feels loss of insecurity, loneliness, hallucinated, fear in their life. They don't want to understand what has happened to them. It is so obvious that they deliberately treat themselves because their fear of insecurity won't let them face the truth. O’ Neill, throughout the play, emphasize on a realistic view. In the Emperor Johns O’ Neill emphasizes of the situation of the main character Brutus Jones.
