The purpose of this study was to compare the state anxiety of North-zone intervarsity Volleyball player’s with progression in rounds. 72 male Volleyball players were from the North-zone intervarsity teams, who were participating in North-zone intervarsity Volleyball competition for the year 2010-11 in Meerut (UP).For the purpose of collection of data, competition state anxiety Inventory-2 was used, which was prepared by Reiner Marten. The completed questionnaire were scrutinized by the scholar to ensure that the subjects responded to every items and there was no statement left unanswered. .For the purpose of the study, the one way analysis of variance was used at 0.05 level of significance.
