Abstract

The idea of equality is to not give everyone the same treatment but to bring every citizen to the point where they can all be treated the same. Equality only exists among equals and due to a number of factors including the caste system, the residual effects of the British colonialism, extreme divide between the rich and the poor and much more, not all citizens of India are equal.
