Abstract

The Poet represents 'Love', Love asks Flora, the Greek Goddesses of Nature to give a flower, a flower that has an evident capacity to be the Queen of the multitude of flowers on the planet. Among the flowers there has been a notable, well established competition between 'the Lily' and 'the Rose'. Well known Poets guaranteed their magnificence through melodies (both got equivalent gestures of recognition). The two of them have their own uniqueness, both couldn't beat the other. A Rose can't be pale or pinnacle amazing like a Lily and a Lily can't be pretty much as lovely as a Rose (Lily is consecrated to Juno, the spouse of Jupiter, Goddess of ripeness and assurance. Rose is related with the Greek Goddess Psyche).
