Abstract

The current operating and economic conditions for organizations have had a substantial impact on employees' work demands and obligations. Organizations everywhere are downsizing, rightsizing, outsourcing and restructuring and attempting to make more flexible use of their human labour sources through shorter tenure, temporary and part-time work and subcontracting . This almost inevitably implies the rationalization of jobs and with the move of society into the global information era, a profound restructuring of work is taking place in order to be more competitive economy.
