In the present manuscript the chelating ligands derived from 1,2 Di-(o- aminophenoxy)ethane and amines such as N-methylhydroxylamine, N-ethylhydroxylamine have been synthesized, obtained polydenatate ligands viz. 1, 2 di- (o-1- methyltriazene-1-oxide-3-pheonoxy) ethane (DMTPE) and 1, 2 di-(o-1- ethyltrizene-1- ethyltriazene-1-oxide-3- phenoxy) ethane (DETPE) were found neutral and diamagnetic in nature.
