Abstract

The paper aims to highlight the narration and narrative techniques in Courtney Summers’ Edgar Award Winner ‘Sadie’. Courtney Summers is a critically acclaimed award winning author of several novels. ‘Sadie’ is a compelling story about a brutal crime and a teen seeking justice. Sadie plays the role of a mother, when her own mother, a drug addict disappears, leaving the girls to fend for themselves.
