Abstract

Industrialization and reduction of unemployment can be achieved by both communal means and individual efforts through the innovative initiative. These are all forms of entrepreneurship. Women entrepreneurs are the ones engaged in small productive activities in their living areas and they play an enormous role in the development of the rural economy as well as the national economy. The involvement of women in entrepreneurial activities is dependent upon several factors viz. financial position, integrated occupation, unemployment, professional skill, availability of time, etc.
