This paper reviews the applicability of social marketing. The primary focus of social marketing is social good and it refers to the behavior of individuals or society. Social marketing has been widely applied for more than three decades in the fields of public health, environmental protection, and political marketing with significant success. The paper attempts to explain social marketing mix is utter importance to the marketer at every stage of its program. It draws on a wide range of information regarding how it is perceived in the market, how the decisions are taken under this concept and most importantly how to start social marketing.
