Abstract

This research study aims to find out recent trends of changing population in Nashik district. The spatial variation of changing trends of population are observed from 1901 to 2011. Geographically Nasik lies between 19o 33’ and 200 53’ north latitude and 730 16’ and 750 16’, with an area of 15530 sq. kms. North South length is 120 kms. East West length is 200 kms. Population of Nashik district is 6,109,052 among them 3,164,261 are males and 2,944,791 and females.
