Abstract

This paper evaluates the impact of government training for women in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, aimed at strengthening the artisan sector. The handicrafts of Rampur are well-known for their aesthetics, traditional values, quality, and craftsmanship. The schemes for skill development in the handicraft sector have been conceptualized to fulfil the needs of the ever-changing handicraft sector.
