Abstract

It is already proved that yogic asana directly influences neuromuscular coordination. Electromyogram (EMG) is the recording of electrical changes which occur in a muscle, as a result of muscular tension production. In the present study EMG has been taken as a measure of peripheral nervous system arousal and the resting muscular potentiality has been recorded for measuring the basal arousal level.
