Abstract

Diversity of Indian Grey hornbill depends on the environmental conditions suitable for food habit, nesting etc. Indian Grey hornbill (Ocyceros birostris) commonly prefers dry deciduous forest. The birds are arboreal found throughout India. A study of diversity of Indian Grey hornbill around Bidarakundi village, Vijayapur Dist, Karnataka state, India was conducted to check the status in the area, food habit and nesting behavior.
