The SFIO is a multi disciplinary organization under Ministry of Corporate Affairs , consisting of experts in the different fields for detecting and prosecuting or recommending for prosecution white-collar crimes/frauds. It was established in the year 2003. To combat the frauds effectively one needs the support of government at every stage. There are three such agencies that are dedicated to the combating of the frauds.
