Abstract

The working of non-performing assets (NPAs) best indicates the soundness of the banking sector of any nation in the world; non-performing are the loans created by banks on which repayments or interest are not done on time if the borrower fails to fulfil his promise for repayment his loan for 90 days then and only termed into NPA’s, the study was conducted to investigate the relative magnitude of the causes that lead to bad loans in the banks.
