Abstract

The present paper addresses the ethical issues of implementing blockchain-based remittance systems in developing countries. Although blockchain could ensure quick, cost-effective, and transparent transactions, the most vulnerable remittance receivers could be exposed to risks as disadvantaged access to digital devices
