Abstract

This study examines the representation and portrayal of motherhood in Toni Morrison's seminal work Beloved. Through a close analysis of the novel's characters, themes, and narrative techniques, it delves into the complex and nuanced portrayal of the bond between mothers in the context of the continuing legacy of slavery.
