Abstract

Potter Stewart, former Supreme Court Justice of United States defined ethics as “knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is the right thing to do”. To make the right choices as a business communicator, you have a responsibility to think through not only what you say but also the consequences of saying it. Thus, Ethics is the accepted principles of conduct that govern behaviour within a society. Put another way, ethical principles define the boundary between right and wrong.
