Abstract
ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is to make use of virtual keyboard of a computer to build vocabulary in the classroom. It is understood that most of the students from beginners in English to versatile veterans know the frustration of not having the right word immediately available in that lexicon one carries between one’s ears. Sometimes, it is a matter of not being able to recall the correct word; at times, s/he never knows it. It is also displeasure to read a newspaper or homework and run across words whose meanings elude him/her. In spite of everything, Language is power. Hence, building lexical items that is adequate to the needs of one’s reading and self-expression has to be a personal goal for every student of higher education.
