Abstract

Minor:- A person who has not attained the age of minority known as minor. Sec :-3 of the Indian majority Act, 1857 states that a person is deemed to have attained majority as follows:- 1) When a guardian of a minor’s person or property is appointed under guardian and wards Act, 1980, then a person is deemed to have attained majority on completion of 21 yrs. 2) When a property of a minor has passed under the superintendence of the courts of wards, then a person is deemed to have attained majority on completion of 21 yrs. 3) In other cases, a person is deemed to have attained majority on completion of 18 yrs.
