Schizophrenia is a disease of the brain, which manifests with multiple signsand symptoms involving disturbance in thought, perception, emotions, movementsand behaviour. In some people, schizophrenia appears suddenly and without warning. But foremost, it comes on slowly, with subtle warning signs and a gradual decline infunctioning long before the first severe episode. Family members often providepsychosocial support assistance in seeking treatment for individuals withschizophrenia. The treatment of schizophrenia has three components. One of thetreatment modality for schizophrenia is home care management, which will helps toreduce the occurrence of relapse, rehospitalisation and improves the general health of the patient.
