Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper elaborates on various aspects of Corporate bond market in India. Firstly, It aims to provide the present status of corporate bond market in India. It also aims to provide Corporate bond market size, total issues through public issues or private placements and composition of bond issued through private placements in recent years. It also aims to provide a need for vibrant bond market and some reasons for Under-developed corporate bond market in India. Lastly, it concludes with some steps for developing corporate bond market in India.
