REVIVAL SCHEMES FOR SICK INDUSTRIES IN INDIA

Abstract

The objective of this study is to prepare schemes for rehabilitation / revival for a chosen sample of sick companies in India and to look for common features in those packages. As this is a dissertation in the Finance area, financial restructuring is the main focus of the rehabilitation schemes. To start with, a brief description of the legal context is given. Then the case of each company is dealt with separately. Finally, the common features are discussed.
