Abstract

Rapid economic development in the world produce 20-25 billion tonnes of electronics –waste (E-Waste) every year. E-waste contains large number of components and toxic substances. E-waste is generated in India as well as dumped from developed countries. This article offers India’s current e-waste scenario, government policies,and disposal, reprocess and reuse operations.
