EFFECT OF YOGASANA ON CARDIOVASCULAR ENDURANCE IN WOMEN PLAYERS

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the “Effects of Yoga Asana on Cardiovascular Endurance in Women Players”. The Researcher was used random sampling method for selection of 30 woman players in out of 60. The 30 subject was selected from Department of physical education, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur. To check the practice of yogasana increases the cardiovascular fitness of the students. The researcher was used pre-test of cardiovascular endurance on women players and after the test researcher gave one month training of different yogasana. Then he conducts the post-test. The data was collected with the help of standardized test of Cardiovascular Endurance. Harvard Step Test used to measure the cardio-vascular fitness of the women players. The analysis of data showed that the practices of yogasana are found effective to develop cardio-vascular fitness.
