Abstract

Capital flows have always played an important role in the globalization process. Expanding globalization of the world economy has invigorated the multinational enterprises to invest abroad on a large scale. At the same time, the host countries have created a favourable environment to attract more and more foreign direct investments. In this regard, both India and ASEAN have radically changed their economic policies.
