EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE ON JOB SATISFACTION AMONG TEACHERS OF UNA AND KANGRA DISTRICT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH

Abstract

Main objectives of the present study to find out the relationship among organizational climate and job satisfaction and investigate the effect of organisational climate on job satisfaction of teachers. The researcher framed null hypotheses for the study. 600 teachers of Una and Kangra Distrct of Himachal Pradesh were selected for survey. “Job Satisfaction Scale for teachers” developed by Meera Dixit. and “Organizational Climate Scale developed by Vanita Singh selected for the data collection. Main findings of the study: there was a significant but positive slight correlation between organizational climate and job satisfaction of teachers. It also revealed that there was a significant effect of organizational climate on job satisfaction of teachers.
