JOB SATISFACTION OF HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

A great deal of research work had been carried in this field in India and abroad. As far as in India is concern the attention of researchers and educationist has not yet been drawn to this area but some researchers have attempted some studies. The initiative about identifying organizational climate of schools started in India in the beginning of seventies among educators and researchers. Taking an overview of the literature available it can be concluded that various studies reported the relation and effect of school organizational climate on teachers’ job satisfaction.
