Abstract

Social networks are appropriate an essential part of our lives. Students are spending much time on social media and are well deliberate the largest category that uses such application. This study tries to travel around the influence of social media use, and on high school students performance. A proposed framework that guides research in this area and reflects on the issues related to such observable fact. Social networking has become an international trend and has spread its reach to almost every corner of the world. With these advancements a major concern arises as in this age of huge technological development social networking sites are becoming more and more popular among students. Therefore, social networking websites are considered as an ideal source that helps us to widen our knowledge. Recent survey says that millions of people accessing social networking sites for their educational requirements. Thus, the field of education has undergone a drastic shift and hence gained a new dimension for the past decade.
