Abstract

The paper analyses the impact of Udyogini scheme, which is specifically designed for women so that they can achieve economic and social empowerment in view of her enormous roles and responsibilities in family and society. In this background a number of innovative schemes have been launched by central and state governments for developing of women in our country. The scheme is implemented through Karnataka State Women Development Corporation to improve the entrepreneurial skills self employment and generating employment.
