A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF VALUES OF DELINQUENT AND NORMAL CHILDREN IN WESTERN UP

Abstract

Children's values not only affect his/ her behavior in the classroom but also impact the behavior on the society. On the basis of the analysis of the data collected through questionnaire the following conclusions were drawn.Normal children have more values in comparison to delinquent children. Since value was examined on these ten dimensions. From this study it was revealed that normal children are having more social values as compared to delinquent it seems to assert that delinquent are not social as normal children.Delinquent and normal children are having more or less same democratic, aesthetic, knowledge, powers, family prestige and health value. The findings of this study indicate that delinquent children are not value less. The behavior of the delinquent may be improved through proper training of values and by the healthy environment of the family
