Abstract

MCA21 is an outcome-oriented programme launched by the Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) under the caption MCA21. In the context of a globalising world, it is important that our industry remains ahead of competition. Our regulatory framework must facilitate compliance of rules at a minimum cost and with convenience. In this dimension under MCA21, appropriate provisions have been made for electronic filing system and for payment of fees through electronic form. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has indeed taken a landmark decision to provide prompt, efficient and transparent services to the companies registered with it. The programme, launched with a view to introducing efficiency and transparency in delivery of services, focuses on a customer-centric approach (emphasis supplied) as the principal driving factor and transform the manner in which working of the corporate sector is regulated.
