We live in a technology and media driven world.The Tourism Industry was one of the sectors that benefitted the most from the technological advancement. Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) is also promoting tourism with their breath taking resources of geographical and socio- cultural importance through social media is a part of their mission. It is used as a powerful tool to create awareness among the tourist about MP Tourism destinations. The paper is a criticalevaluation of the strategies implemented by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation for its branding and positioning in India and abroad.
