Abstract

For bring out women as rich in society, economy and family the only way is motivating them as women entrepreneur. It gives awareness to the society about the right and importance of women in the sustainable development of the country as well as family. It also eliminates the main causes of the terrible practice against women. Without participating of women in any economic activities the overall economic development of the country is not possible in the world. It is also applicable to the sustainable development of the family in the society. This study attempted to find out the problems facing by the women entrepreneur in rural and urban areas and evaluate the risk taking capability of them. The primary data were from 150 women entrepreneurs in Thiruchrappalli District of Tamil Nadu. The result showed that the rural women have more problems due to lack of proper training and low risk taking capability.
