Abstract

Hotel industry now a day is as booming as ever. Due to rapid growth in Globalization and foreign investments, Tourism sector in India is at all-time high. This has profited the Indian economy and caused increase in Hotels. Keeping all the basic essentials of Hospitality in mind, Hotels are finding it very difficult in keeping up with the competition and demand with respect to Effective staff members to run the show. Either work force is highly qualified or low on skills this causes high attrition and low quality delivery respectively. There are many small measures that hotel’s HR team, head of departments and team managers can take to ensure higher Retention in valuable employees. Here in this paper we will discuss and elaborate on how to have good retention rates in Hotel industry using certain basic and common measures.
