AGGRANDIZING LISTENING IN THE BEHAVIOUR OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS THROUGH BYJU’S LEARNING APP

Abstract

‘Byju’s learning app is an online platform where learners can understand and equip their knowledge and even clarify their doubts in the subjects by listening to the audio visual collection. It is a welcomed tool of 21st century learners. Beyond just visual program, it raises learning interest in the minds of the learners and how this triggers listening behaviour in the discourse would be the major question. As the modern generation of today suffers more from laziness and distractions this paper cull out positive factors which prompts and breaks the saying “watching audio visual programs make anyone lazy”. This paper is an attempt to prove them all wrong and how modern generation of learner’s mind can be activated and guided effectively by watching audio visual programs. This paper also clutch applicable suggestions on how to use these application programs in innovative curriculum pedagogy to sail along with the wave of modern generation specially with regards to listening. The investigator believes when listening is triggered all other skills have their own way upright ultimately.
